Student DescriptionIn the Spring of 2000, the Illinois State Univesity Board approved a $1.735 million project that substantially upgraded the Illinois State Golf Course layout and design, as well as replaced the 21-year-old irrigation system.
Today the 6,500 yard, par 71 golf course accommodates approximately 36,000 rounds per year and will host more than 100 tournaments and outings. These events include Men's and Women's Intercollegiate Athletics, Boys and Girls University High School home tournaments, and the Illinois High School Association Girl's State Final.
