     | The
Cranbrook Summer Art Institute offers a wide variety of unique
classes to teenagers, ages 13 to 18. From architecture,
fashion design, animation to painting, sculpting and creative writing and
more, we cater both to the college bound and to
the student looking to acquire a new skill. We
are housed on the historic and gorgeous Cranbrook Academy of
Art campus, ranked as on of the top graduate art
programs in the nation, located 15 miles north of Detroit. Our
staff is comprised of Academy of Art graduate students and
alumni, which includes professors, architects and award-winning artists. They
will help you make great strides with your art in
this intensive 3 week program that meets 6 hours each
day. At the end, you can show what you
have accomplished in a formal exhibition at the Cranbrook Art
Museum. Have a blast, learn a lot, and help build an
incredible college portfolio!
