Orlando Repertory Theatre (in partnership with the University of Central Florida) Civic Youth Academy www.orlandorep.com “The
Rep” offers summer classes and camps for a diverse range
of age groups and interests. The classes and productions are
designed to foster self-confidence, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, team, trust,
and discipline through the medium of the performing arts. All
classes conclude with a showcase on the final day to
which family and friends are cordially invited. All classes and
productions of the Civic Youth Academy adhere to the National
Standards for Theatre Education and incorporate Florida Sunshine State Standards. Program Cost:

UCF Rock and Roll Camps: 2005 www.cas.ucf.edu/music/ Rock
and Roll camp offers students the opportunity to spend a
week learning Rock and Roll material on Guitar, Bass, Keyboard,
Drums, Voice; rehearsing with other students at similar levels as
“rock bands”, and performing in a Rock concert for the
public in costume on the final day. Students can choose
between the beginner week (June 6-10, 2005) for ages 8-14,
and intermediate/advanced week (July 25-29, 2005). Instructors are veteran rockers
with at least 10 years in the business, all of
whom have played with many big names in the world
of Rock and Roll. Emphasis is on ensemble (playing together),
preparing material for performance with a deadline, and learning something
new on your instrument. Program Cost: $200
