Residential Programs for Rising 9th through 12th Graders

The Scott Summer Academy residential program at Agnes Scott College combines a stimulating, exciting academic experience with a dynamic social environment.  We are dedicated to providing girls with a well-structured curriculum and a taste of college life.  Students live together in the residence halls, share meals in the dining hall and take advantage of the incredible facilities.

Scott Summer Academy is open to any female student entering grades 9-12 in 2004.  Each session lasts one week (Sunday to Friday) and is residential only.  Students choose one of three tracks, and everyone benefits from individual attention and total academic immersion.  All course work is age and aptitude appropriate with a maximum student-to-teacher ratio of 8-to-1.

This summer we offer three unique and enriching programs: College Prep,

Creative Writing Workshop and Spanish Language.

Two sessions are available: Session 1 June 20 - 25

Session 2 June 27 - July 2

Our teaching staff is the core of the Scott Summer Academy experience.  The staff is composed of talented young people with experience working with high-school students.  They are smart, fun and outgoing.  Not only are they effective instructors, they are positive role models for the students.
