principles of design, computer programming, and electronics. This means students
learn applied math and science concepts through fun, team-based activities.
Through exciting hands-on activities, Tech Trek campers will experience
first-hand the challenges and rewards of making technology work while
making new friends.
Designed for students entering the 7th and 8th
grade.
Build
the hydrogen-powered fuel cell car of the future. Campers will
build a model car that actually runs on water!
Using the Thames & Kosmos Fuel Cell Car & Experiments,
we'll introduce your teenager to one of the most significant
technologies of the 21st century. Activities include building their
own experimental reversible fuel cell car. They will learn
more about how a fuel cell works to perform electrolysis
as well as to create energy. Campers will compete
in various competitions throughout the week.
