Tech Trek Camp (Texas State Technical College West Texas)

Tech Trek campers will create functioning robots while learning some basic principles of design, computer programming, and electronics.  This means students learn applied math and science concepts through fun, team-based activities.  Through exciting hands-on activities, Tech Trek campers will experience first-hand the challenges and rewards of making technology work while making new friends.

Designed for students entering the 7th and 8th grade.

Camp H-Tech (Texas State Technical College West Texas)

Build the hydrogen-powered fuel cell car of the future.  Campers will build a model car that actually runs on water!  Using the Thames & Kosmos Fuel Cell Car & Experiments, we'll introduce your teenager to one of the most significant technologies of the 21st century.  Activities include building their own experimental reversible fuel cell car.  They will learn more about how a fuel cell works to perform electrolysis as well as to create energy.  Campers will compete in various competitions throughout the week.

Designed for students between the ages of 13-15.
