The School offers a residency program and individual classes during the summer.

The Summer Institutes are designed to focus the student's interests in one area per session.  This way they learn not just what college is like, but what making art is all about.  Students choose one subject and study in an intensive environment from 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday.  Each session has the same rigorous pace of all-day classes plus elective evening workshops and weekend activities.  Students work hard, learn a lot, and are always excited about the work they produce.  All students discover they can do more and better work than they ever thought they could.
