Research and Extension Apprenticeship Program or (REAP) is a six-week
residential program for students grade 9-11, who are interested in
learning about careers in agriculture. Program Cost:

Summer Transportation Institute is a 9 week residual, for 8th
and 9th grade students who are interested in working in
the field of transportation, mainly civil engineering. Funding is provided
my the Department of Transportation. Program Cost:
The
Mission of the Research and Extension Apprenticeship Program is to
provide new experiences and stimulating challenges to young men and
women at Kentucky State University (KSU). In this United
States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) sponsored program, young people will
have an opportunity to interact, work, and study with professional
scientists, researchers, and specialists in a variety of fields related
to agriculture, agribusiness, natural resources, and human services.
