Gifted
high school students who wish to enroll at UNO may
apply for one of three special Honors programs, allowing them
to enroll for summer classes, to enroll concurrently at UNO
during the fall and spring semesters, or to enroll full-time.
Students should have an ACT composite of 25 or better
(28 for full-time enrollment), a high school grade point average
of at least 3.0, and a recommendation from their principal
or guidance counselor. Generally, these students may receive a Gifted
and Talented Scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition for
one three-credit course.
