Lake Superior State University Robotics Summer Camps
engineering.lssu.edu/summercamps
Our week-long summer camps are geared towards gifted and talented young men and women in grades 8-12.

Students will receive hands-on experiences with computer programming, industrial robots, automation, data acquisition, computer animation, electronics and Web page development.

All classroom and laboratory experiences are directly supervised by LSSU engineering faculty in our ABET-recognized Robotics & Automation Laboratory, one of the best educational facilities in North America.

Of course it's not just “all work” - there are opportunities for recreation, special activities and trips.

We believe the combination of fun and education will be an experience that students will remember all their lives.  No prior knowledge of robotics or other engineering technology topics is required.

Women in Technology, a robotics camp for young women in grades 8-12 is typically held the last week of June.  Check our Website for updates - a second week may be added.

The young men's robotics camps are held in July with separate camps for those in grades 8-10 and 10-12.

The cost is $695 U.S. for resident campers or $595 U.S. for commuters.  Commuters are encouraged to return to campus during the evenings to participate in recreational activities.

For an informational brochure including selection criteria and application form, visit our summercamp Web site.
