Summer Health Professions Academy

The Summer Health Professions Academy at Lehman College provides high school juniors and seniors with a unique opportunity to explore nursing and related health careers through college level course work and real world experience in hospital settings.  Students will develop research skills and awareness of the academic preparation necessary to enter the health field.  Upon succesful completion of the program, students will receive 3 college credits from Lehman College.  Open to all New York City public high school students FREE OF CHARGE.  This is a six week (July 6-Aug.12) four day/week (Mon.-Thurs.) program.  Call 718/960-8966

Summer Arts Academy

The Summer Arts Academy provides high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience college level studies in the arts and mass communication.  Students will take college credit courses in art, theatre, film making or journalism.  The courses will provide an interactive hands-on learning experience as well as exposure to the humanities.  Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive 4 credits from Lehman College.  Open to all New York City public high school students FREE OF CHARGE.  This is a five week(July 12-Aug.12) four day/week (Mon.-Thurs.) program.  Call 718/960-6792
