Small Town close to Grand Rapids, Decent location, POOR weather, Becoming a very crowded campus, Take classes at downtown location if possible. Sports and extracurricular activities are decent. Choose someplace else if you are looking for a party school!

It got a little weird after I disclosed my disability. They asked me to carry a letter around to each professor and doctorates demonstrated their ignorance. I got some polite conversations from staff asking me to leave, phone calls that were a little more aggressive, and surprise meetings in downtown GR that fit the bill. They have this disability support program, but if your disability bears stigma, you might get a nasty reaction from the community trying to keep the population clean. The curriculum repeated itself, we debated Freud in 400 level psych classes and repeated theory introduced 4 years ago; no application. Always keep in mind—lake effect—snow that's a killer.

Grand Valley State University is located in Allendale, Michigan and it offers over 100 undergraduate majors. The university's goal is to prepare students for careers in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering and math. It has a student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1 which allows for more one on one time with instructors.
