Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I've only been at the school for one semester and I'm torn on whether I should transfer. Geneva has some really great things about it, the professors are awesome and really want to invest in their students and the classes are pretty good (major pending). However, there is a real lack of campus community. Geneva College is a school that targets students in PA within an hour of the school because they know that they will just go home on the weekends; about 50% live off-campus and about half of the people who live on campus go home on the weekends. Therefore, the school doesn't have to plan any activities, concerts, etc… The school's funding is pretty skewed, instead of giving a lot of scholarships for accademics they give the football players a free ride. And since all the funding goes to sports there isn't enough money to invest in making the campus better. But Geneva does have really good professors. So if you don't mind having professors as friends and maybe one or two students, come to Geneva.
