UMBC gives out free money to in-state students like there's no tomorrow. The biggest reason I came here was because it was free. The school also puts a lot of focus on the sciences, almost forgetting the arts and humanities, but that means there's always an opening in the SGA and other campus organizations. Friendly students, but no school spirit or football team, if that's what you're into. But, if you come from a middle income background like I do, free money is free money, heh?
