Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
If you want a school that has lots of opptions in liberal arts, this is probably not the place for you. Likewise if you have never been able to create fun out of nothing. If you are a city kind of person, don't even try. The campus is located at more than 7000 feet above sea level, denver has nothing on this place, and if you haven't been this high before, it can take a bit of adjusting. The individual programs are nice, if you are going here for agriculture, in other areas coverage is a bit spotty. The majority of students come from Wyoming and many have apparently never been out of the state. As with any small town, the variety of ideas expressed ranges from fanatically conservative to moderately conservative, but there are few racial tensions, simply because the school is almost totally white. If you just want a degree, and don't care what it is in, or if you are challenged to get good grades, this might be your school. The University is doing it's best to live down it's party rep, but the town of almost 22,000 people, including all students has easily 20 bars. There are many clubs, some actually academic, and sports are really important here. The professors are for the most part very approachable, and quite helpful if you have problems, but since most funding goes to either sports or agriculture, there are few offerings in the liberal arts. Over all it's a good school to go to if you are from the state, or cannot afford someplace better.
