PLU life helped me get along well in academic and corporate circles by refining my speech, vocabulary, and well-rounded knowledge via a flexible curriculum that included classic thinkers and scholarly understanding. Lots of east coast talent on the faculty here.

PLU hurt on lack of real world experience opportunities. Lots of teen immaturity in dorms but not boring. PLU campus was a tranquil nest, thus called the "Lutedome."

Though bilingual, I should have learned Swedish or German as a 3rd because many of my friends were Nordic exchange students. Everyday use of a Nordic/Germanic language is guaranteed if you want it. Awesome Chinese Studies Program for science majors.

Highschoolers: Work and study serious, but don't "act" serious. PLU is a happy place. Grumpy/Anal types get noticed and it bums people out. PLU students are very rah-rah spirited. Lots of jocks/jockettes and high-five slaps here and there for no apparent reason. HAHA
