I just graduated from UC Davis (Class of 2002). I had a wonderful time at UC Davis during my undergraduate career. I fell in love with the small town atmosphere even though I am a city boy from Oakland.

It is not suprising that there are mixed opinions about UC Davis. Every university has its supporters and critics. In a way it shows that the university has a diverse group of people with opinions. Many students at UCD are bright, ambitious people who are also laid back and fun. They know when to study and when to have fun. The work is challenging but not impossible.

If you are looking for an academically challenging school that is also laid back, then you should definitely consider UC Davis.
