The University of Chicago is an excellent school, but it is extremely academically rigorous, especially if you take the time consuming classes (for me, Japanese and Honors Calculus.) Free-thinking is encouraged, and despite the jokes about having no social life, I have fun all of the time, especially via dorm life and the on-campus movie theater. This was my dream school; once I got in on Early Action, I didn't apply anywhere else - and it hasn't disappointed me.
