Date: Oct 02 2002 Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time) State was pretty cold being a commuter campus and all. There is no sense of community at all, you are just a number. You'll get to know some of the people in your classes but that's about it unless you get yourself involved in some kind of activity or come with a group of friends. The Greek system in next to non extistent. Generally in classes the instructor will only engage those who sit near the front (not the case for all profs though). On the up side, the professors are very approachable and readilly available. Some instructors are tougher than others, most students can tell you who's who. So you can either slack your way through or you can challenge yourself and get an education, it's up to you. Also, take advantage of the career center, they can really help you with getting your resume together, honing you interviewing skills, and finding out what the hell you want to do with your life. My advice, state is ok for getting an education, but if you want to go to Rah Rah Go State U., then go somewhere else.
