Grove City College is a respectable learning institution with the normal flaws that accompany any college or university. However, becase Grove City builds itself up to be the savior of Christian education, one cannot help but be disappointed when matriculating here. Perhaps I should clarify that by saying most social science majors will be frustrated with the lack of quality within their departments and most science/engineering majors face an exceptionally difficult course load. As a social science student, I am exceptionally disappointed that the one class in which I have been challenged is Chemistry—yet because I am NOT a science major and do not understand an iota of what is going on, it is more depressing than motivating. In terms of positives, this is a very safe and beautiful school that does give its students a taste of existing within a Christian community.
