The school likes to neglect some different areas and over compensate for that in other areas. (Example, one department gets assloads of money for equipment, while another department gets just enough to repair the stuff they have from the 1980's.) A residence hall is built on a steep hill and is slowly sinking, making the building crack. They're planing to build another one near it on a steeper hill nearby. But, the faculty is usually very helpful and understanding of problems. There is also a free bus down into town.
