I was very disappointed after attending Audrey Cohen (now Metropolitan College) after one semester. The academic standards are unmentionable. The college enrolls students without having a HS Diploma or GED and allow those without the necessary academic credentials to obtain their GED after receiving 30 college credits. Given the fact that the college does not have remedial courses, I was forced to sit in class with individual who cleary were incapable of handling college level work. Students were allowed to take the entrance exam twice and were tutored to pass (because there are no remedial courses). The computer lab had approximately 20 computers of which 7 to 10 worked and my class had roughtly 16 students.Students were allowed to take final exams and mid-terms after the scheduled tests date. The administration is a joke and is very incompotent. I transfered out after my first semester and would advise students to go to a State University, City College and do the 4 years and do not settle for a second rate education at Audrey Cohen/Metropolitan College. Many students stick with the school because of the accelerated program and the quick degree but fail to realize that they are not going to be equipped with the necessary skills to advance in the job market upon graduating.College of Human Service/Audrey Cohen/Metropolitan College is great disappointment and given that it has three name changes should be a true indication of its low academic standards.
