Mount Holyoke students must find thier own niche, if not they would be running to the PVTA bus to take them off to Amherst or Northampton all the time. The women here really care about the school even when they consider transferring to another school for some reason. Conflicts between students don't accur that often, and students are generally very respectful and friendly towards eachother. Sometimes there are unspoken compitions to see who is more stressed out or who is the busiest ("I have 5 papers, and 2 exams due tomorrow…", "well, I have 10 papers, 3 exams, and 500 pages to read due in 5 minutes!!!") If this kind of environment existed in a larger city I would be there because the quiet calm gets too daunting at times.
