I'm considering applying to Champlain, and I was wondering about the specifics. I aspire to be a Digital Media artist; do you know how well these classes are taught and the reputation? How is the food? I love snowboarding, are slopes easily accessible? Thanks for your time! |
Major: Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
This is an excellent school. With small class environments (nothing larger than 35 students and on average, about 20), you work close with your peers to gain a better understanding of what it is you are trying to achieve. The faculty, who are selectively hired, choose to teach; not to just earn the money, because obviously they are not earning as much as larger Universities. It is set within a city that is beautiful and the College does not stand out, but blends in with the natural look and feel of it's surroundings. Staff who are hired here always present you with a smile. I believe it is worth the money you place into your education. If you are planning to be a Graphic Design Major, make sure you take classes with Lustgarten, Church, Sample, Clove and DeMarle. You will greatly benifit from their advice as well as expertise.
