Date: Feb 03 2003 Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time) Horry-Georgetown Tech was a great place to start my college career. I started there when I was 28, so it had been over 10 years since I had been in a classroom. It's a wonderful place for older students, and there are a lot of them there! I also think it's great for young students who are trying to figure out what they want to do or are uneasy about jumping into a large university immediately. They offer two-year degrees that transfer to 4-year programs. I graduated with an Associate in Arts degree (3.7 GPA) and now I am an Accounting major at CCU. I'm very grateful that HGTC was there or I might have been too intimidated by a larger school. I felt like I was part of a big family there! My whole experience at HGTC was positive.
