I would say to make sure you get the right information that you need BEFORE you go to college, in terms of your choice of career. Be diligent about this. No one will do it for you. Also speak with others who are in the field into which you would like to go to get a realistic view of what you are are going into; you will not get this from schools or from the organizations pushing your selected career choice. You many not even get this from your teachers. Prayerfully consider what you want to do with your life and where possible, so something that has a lot of room for movement, either laterally or vertically. Most of all, choose something you will enjoy getting up to do EVERY DAY FOR 30 YEARS because once you start working it is difficult to stop. :)
