The academic quality of EdCC is pretty good, as are its many clubs and other opportunities for academic growth. However, entertainment-wise, this school is about as dull as they come. It's not really their fault; there just isn't much to do in Lynnwood. You have to go down to Seattle in order to have any fun on the weekend. And the ascetic of the college is quite interesting. While the landscaping is very nice, and the college is maintained very well, the architexture is slightly reminiscent of Soviet-era East European design. I half-expect to see a Josef Stalin look-alike come out onto the skybridge and harangue us at noon every day. However, that being said, the faculty's great, for the most part. My best advice, find someone who's been there a year or so, and find out the teachers to take, and the ones to avoid. The staff at the registration office could use some lessons in humility, though. They are rather snooty, taking their sweet time as about 100 people sit in line to register. With its little quirks and flaws, this is a good school to get used to college-level work, but don't expect really fun weekends here unless you have a car to go down to Seattle with.
