I would urge anyone considering coming here to think again. Georgetown has positive aspects, particularly in terms of faculty, but most of my time here has been very negative. The peer group is not impressive; facilities are generally terrible (especially the gym); access to the city is tough on the weekends, certainly not what is advertised; there is no sense of community, especially now that the basketball team has tanked; the administration is unresponsive and closed off to student input. For those who care, diversity is also seriously lacking.

If you are coming to Georgetown expecting an Ivy-quality experience and education, go elsewhere. This is a school on the decline.
