The campus is small, which allows you to really get to know students and professors; the campus is also very beautiful, and even though the weather is kind of humid sometimes, Nacogdoches is a beautiful town. People say there's nothing to do, but there's really plenty of fun things (bowling, movies, hanging with friends, free campus activities, intramural sports, going to Lumberjack sporting events, and just enjoying the campus and the weather) you just have to actually leave your dorm to find them. There could be a wee bit more school spirit, but it's still a lot of fun to go to football games and such. There are a lot of fraternities and sororities but not everyone is a part of them, and though we do have a reputation for being a party school, you don't have to do that, either. There are so many other activities you will stay busy without drinking and the like. Plus, we're getting a new university center next year and it's going to be an awesome place to hang out, with movie theaters, game rooms, another coffee shop with internet access, and lots of hanging out space. The cafeteria food isn't so bad, really, and they have a chick-fil-a, blimpie, and other venues. I'm sure not every aspect of SFA fits every person, but I really enjoy it. I hope you visit and enjoy it, too. AXE 'EM JACKS!!!
