This is a good school. I hated it when I got here, and swore I would transfer immediately. Truly, this school isn't the four year catered orgy that many of the bigger state schools are—but you can definately have the "college experience" without any problems. The key thing to remember about this school is that here, more then any other school, do you have the opportunity to create your own experience. And not in a cheesy, after-school special sort of way. You have immense freedom academically and socially to do, say, act, and think how you want. This school doesn't lay out the groundwork of how your "college experience" is going to be. For the lazy mind that appreciates pre-determined experience, this is not the school for you. I will admit, this school has its downsides. If you don't have, and can get, a car things are pretty grim for the urban-chic dwellers. The social scene isnt horrible. It is small, and you do know a lot of people but sometimes that can be a benefit as opposed to being lost in the hordes. This place really helps you grow. I can't believe I'm actually typing this positive review, because I was so skeptical about this college when I got here, but it really is a remarkable place.
