I absolutely love attending USC. The school takes a very unique approach to classes, which allows the students to gain applicable knowledge to their everyday lives, instead of the same old boring and generic knowledge that we've all had since elementary school. Many of the professors are wonderful and really into the subjects that they teach, as well as their students. The weather is always beautiful and the campus is just amazing despite the condition of its immediate surroundings. Also, it has an excellent location right in LA so that opportunities for employment and experience are everywhere.

As far as the social scene goes and the appearance of the students, I think USC only continues to be a positive experience in these aspects. I think those that had a negative attitude about the students had that negative attitude going in. This is especially true of the greek life. I think going Greek was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It opened the door for me to meet numerous individuals who are all very different, even though some would have you believe that greeks were all the same. While some greeks may appear stuck up, that attitude only comes from a lack of effort to get to know them. Most greeks are fantastic individuals that really have a lot of fun. Being a part of the greek system has certainly helped my social experience at USC, but it doesn't define it. I have many friends in various houses on the row and many who are not in any houses at all, my best friend included. For girls, you don't have to be in a sorority to enjoy the perks of greek life, like the parties. For guys, it is more difficult to be socially involved, I'll admit. Overall, attending USC has been an extremely positive experience and I wouldn't trade it for any other school!
