USC, or CSU-Pueblo now, is actually a really great school. At first, I wasn't into the programs…I was just into partying and doing the whole college social scene. After I outgrew that, I really buckled down and totally took advantage of the hands-on experience in my TV broadcast emphasis. I don't know anywhere else you can get this kind of training working with tv, radio, etc. But, like with any good school, you HAVE to want to take everything by the balls and be the best there is. Seriously, what you get OUT of the school totally depends on what you put IN to it. You're challenged by how much you want to be challenged. If you're into the social scene, USC isn't it. Pueblo's a joke when it comes to activities. There isn't a lot of school pride when it comes to athletics. Only the dedicated few attend sports activities, which is a shame. It's a good school to play sports at, though, since many athletes go onto bigger things in their sport. It gets kind of frustrating when students know more than the adjunct profs do, but it doesn't happen often. The faculty is super friendly, and will do everything they can to help you out.Overall, it's a great school which does really well in business, masscomm (advertising, broadcast tv, etc) art, music, CIS, and the usual bio, chem, english, math fields. You get more bang for yer buck with USC in my opinion.
