I think that Arcadia is a love it or hate it school. I personally love it. There is enough to do when you get involved with one or a few of the clubs or sports on campus, and there are activities to go to. Granted, there isn't much to do in Glenside, but the train station is a mile away. You can get to Philadelphia in 15 minutes or so. As far as my first year is concerned, there is plenty of help and support from faculty and students. There is a lot of time put into new student orientation by both fac and students, and everyone is very eager to help. If you are willing to go out and do things, and meet people, as oppposed to just sitting in your room sulking and saying "this sucks, this sucks" then you'll meet tons of people and have a good time. This school is good to those who have an open mind and are willing to push their own personal limits and be a better person themselves.
