Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I chose NIU because I loved the feel of the campus, and the looks of it. I think its a very beautiful campus and surroundings. The town of DeKalb leaves a little to be desired, but its not 1/2 bad, and it could definitely get worse. All your shopping needs are less than 10 minutes away right down sycamore ave, and as far as good food, just walk a block or two off campus, and bam, your surrounded. The education program is great, friendly(for the most part) staff, and they really prepare you to teach in the real world. The class work is challenging at times, but then there are weeks that you feel like your in high school again. If I had to make the choice about going here or not, I would definitely attend NIU again. I feel at home here.
