Pros:

It's a great school. The library is really up to date, as fast as a new book comes out, it's on the shelf. The professors are very knowledgeable in their fields and most are still practicing professions as well as teaching. They really focus on ensuring that everyone(at least most) learn the topic that are being taught but you must be at classes on time and concentrate on the class. Like anywhere, if you don't pay attention, there is no way that you will pass. Well, you will not be in class all the time and here at NYIT Manhattan, the diversity is amazing. There is no clear majority of a spicific group just a fun mix. Computer labs are pretty good. I don't know howmany are here but i have not had a problem accessing a computer in a lab and when you are just relaxing in the Student Activities building they have some iMacs. All are connected to the Campus' high speed network. All wireless.

Cons:

There must be bad mus'nt there. The Bursar's department was difficult for me(even though I did'nt owe them anything). The staff there need to learn something about customer service. But the admissions folks are always great and help you deal with the bad elements in other departments like Bursary. It's a small campus so there are'nt many social activities on campus itself. But it's downtown manhattan so you should find something to do.

Bottom Line:

It's a great school. One you are here you would love it. Hope you give it a try.
