I'm not sure how people can say they got bored at Clemson. No offense, but I'm not the most outgoing person and I made tons of lasting friends. USC and UGA kids, and kids at Clemson who are strange will say Downtown stinks. I disagree, but fine- go out to the lakes, Go to Bowman, have an apartment party, play I- murals. If there is a 4% chance of snow, get hammered. If it actually does, forget about it, go nuts. Ask someone in a good fraternity or sorority if they enjoyed Clemson. (95% will say yes). Small town? Yep, but where else can you have 17,000 people (13K undergrads) all within earshot of the bar area? Go to the apartment pools, shoot down or up to Atlanta or Charlotte. If you don't go to every home football game, transfer. If you haven't ever been to an away game or Bowl game, DO IT. Go to the college world series, if you're lucky enough to witness that good a Tiger Team. Hook up with random chicks/ dudes, or find one person you dig and hook up with them a lot. Lift weights or run. Go fishing. Take road trips, and don't let a single Spring Break go unpartied. Go to Mardi Gras (although I can't imagine going more than once). If you're not into the Greek thing, don't bash it- join something else, like a club sport or other organization. I AM VERY BIASED, but it's because I can see that all the people who LOVE Clemson all have one thing in common- they did most or at least SOME of the above things. Go Tigers.
