Athens State is a school for Education Majors, everyone
else is mostly left to fend for themselves. There
is absolutely no nightlife in Athens or Limestone County (Athens
just became a “wet” city). On campus is even more
dull. No campus involvement and only a handful of students
even care about the University. Most students seem to
be at ASU to get a degree and have no
interest in an education or a campus social life.
