Note: I took classes here over the summer of my junior year in high school to avoid taking Spanish the following year. I was never a full-time student (thank God), but I feel it is my duty to tell the world just how horrible this place is.

Foothill College is an absolute joke for those who are at all serious about academics. I would only recommend this "school" for students who do not yet speak English fluently. I repeat, if you need to learn English, this- perhaps- is the school for you.

With that said, to everyone else: this is absolutely the WORST excuse for a college. (Needless to say, the California community college system is horrible. What are we, 49th nation-wide?)

Now, the specifics:

You will BE a number. No one will care about you as an individual.

Counselors are completely inaccessible. It's so bad, you'll wonder what they get paid to do.

Signing up for classes is torture.

Don't expect a social life. The campus is virtually deserted even when school is in session.

Finding parking is like pulling teeth.

The campus is hideous. It's located on a hill, so be prepared to - literally- HIKE to class.
