Emory University is not only the best school in the South, but in terms of the overall campus atmosphere, I believe it's the best on the eastern coast. The size of Emory is perfect- I know enough people to be able to go to eat and sit down with someone I know- however, I always meet new people each and every single time I go out. The campus is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how, after class, my friends and I can go outside and lay out to get tans even in October. The city is close enough to go out on the weekends, so there are Emory nights at clubs where everyone you know go out and have a blast without having to worry about shady characters. Also, Atlanta is a massive city, so you never get bored or have to even go to the same club twice! The people here reflect true Southern charm and friendliness, and all my friends from up north are astonished at how open and friendly everyone is. The intramural sports are varied and fun, and the facilities are great- the technology labs are incredible, with brand-new computers for the students and faculty to use. I am so proud to be attending Emory, and I wouldn't ever even consider transfering to anywhere else!
