BC isn't an awful school per se, but it's really not a good fit for you unless you want the majority of your entire social life to revolve around tailgating at football games and binge drinking, where the "weekend" infamously begin on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Also, there honestly just are too many core requirements to fulfill so you really can't take many classes that you want to until you're an upperclassmen. The student body isn't bad, but they're particularly cliquey. Expect your freshman year dorm friends to be the only people that you're really close with because most people just don't make a concerted effort to socialize beyond them. I myself chose to transfer from BC after my freshman year and am finding my new school to be much more open-minded and well-rounded overall. Again, BC isn't all bad, but I would definitely consider some of its weaknesses before committing to it.
