Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I attended UNT for 1 semester, and I have to say, it was the worst semester of my life. My roomate, and most people I met were sheltered suburban kids who really didn't know anything about anything. There is no balance of people; either they are isolated suburban white kids, isolated suburban black kids, people who don't want to be accepted by society (i.e., so-called Goths), or superlative underachievers. I come from a small town, and wanted a well rounded college experience. UNT is like a high school with 30,000 people. If you want to be around mature people with some idea of what's going on in the world, don't waste your time at the University of North Texas. The biology program is an afterthought; everything is an afterthought to the music program. Classes are either taught by mediocre professors, or teaching assistants who have no idea how to speak the English language. This school blows up its image like its really good. It's not, at least at the undergraduate,non-music major level.
