The four best things about Cornell are:1) The Block Plan. It is an immersion learning system where you take one class at a time. Each class is three and a half weeks, then you get a 4 day break (a block break); take another class, and get another break. You do that nine times throughout the year.2) The campus is BEAUTIFUL!! It looks exactly like a college campus should. The entire campus, in fact, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's been called 3) The school has started a new program called Cornell's Living & Learning Communities. You get a group of friends together and apply for housing in the newly rennovated Merner Hall. Your group picks one area of interest, (from computers, to writing, to music, to weaving), and you come up with a year-long service project that relates to your area of interest. You can then live and work in a community of people who share your interest and work towards completing your service project.4) The students are extremely friendly—yet at the same time extremely bright and creative. Faculty and administration are also very approachable and accessible. They will become your friends and mentors. To summarize: Go here and you may never want to leave! This place will linger with you for the rest of your life.
