Central Missouri State University is a great down-to-earth school. Some of the majors are intense but for the most part there is a really laid back attitude shared between faculty and students. For being in such a remote area(Kansas City is 45 minutes away) , there is still never a dull moment. There is always something to do whether is it a school activity, a sporting event, or a night on the town (although small). If you don't mind being far from a mall, Central has a lot to offer and the faculty and student body is great.
