I would major in a field that would be easier to find work in more quickly. My management science degree was very helpful after I reached the level of middle management- but getting through the doors to the top are kind of like climbing stairs. You have to get in the door-the diploma will help open it for you. After that, how fast a person moves up their career ladder is directly proportional to the hard work and intensity with which they pursue their objectives, and, let no one fool you- a little luck and a LOT of persperation is required! The basics are always repeated in whatever you do- take them seriously. Good luck!
