Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Typical mega-university-diploma-factory. Huge lecture halls, abundance of foreign, non-English-speaking teaching assistant, professors who only care about their research and avoid students like the plague—it's all here. The Princeton Review rankings speak for themselves—the is one of the top schools for partying, pot and beer. If you want to be a violin performance major, this is the place to go, but that it all I'd recommend it for. IU epitomizes all that is wrong is higher education in America today. Read the book BEER AND CIRCUS (written by an IU prof) and you'll understand how the problems of IUB are symptoms of a bankrupt committment to undergraduate education, and a system that is filling our universities with kids that really shouldn't be going to college at all.
