This is for all the "normal" kids who are thinking about coming here. By normal I mean someone who trys to get wasted as much as possible, wants to be around hot girls, and wants to hang out with nice people. Basically Cornell is awesome academically. I really do enjoy learning all the material but I would say a lot of the tests are unfair and not representative of the lectures/readings. The girls here are so nasty and the problem is that because they are all nasty, the ones who would be average at other schools get an inflated head. The other guys here are pretty annoying. Everyone here is from New York, mainly Long Island. A lot of people are only concerned with how much money they will make and if they will seem cool. A lot of people you know will try and avoid you when you see them on campus. People are just randomly unfriendly for no apparant reason. Dont be fooled: the competition here is unreal. Everyone will study for 20 hours for a test just so they will try and be the mean. I consider myself a closet nerd, but i try and get wasted every night, but it is not possible. NOBODY HERE WILL BE INTERESTED IN HANGING OUT OR DOING ANYTHING DURING THE WEEK. Everyone is only concerned with doing there work. The homework is never ending, no doubt about it. And the worst part is that there is no relationship between the amount of work you put in and the grade you receive. But, because there are so many people here, it is possible to find some cool people. Im in a fraternity here and i have some awesome friends, but Im still tryin to transfer. I feel like cornell ripped me off because im now trying to transfer, but i dont have great grades. Even though i have made some awesome friends, I can honestly say I wish every single day that I didnt come here in the first place. I can honestly say that my life is worse for coming to Cornell.
