Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I transferred here from Western Michigan University so that is what I base my comparisons on. Mount Pleasant is one of the most boring towns I have ever been in. If the college were not here it would be one big hick town. There are parties, but not a lot of student houses so these parties are mostly in cramped apartments. The advisors never seem to know what they are doing, nor do they seem to care. I am living in the new towers and they were not at all understanding when I asked to be let out of my agreement so I could move into a much cheaper apartment. The food is terrible and the cafeteria is overcrowded because it serves six or seven different halls. The parking situation is horrible. If you don't have a parking spot by 8 p.m. you probably won't find one until the next day. A lot of the people I have met here are prone to cliques. There is an extreme shortage of dateable guys and after just one semester I have gained two stalkers. I suggest checking out another school before settling on this one.
