I am a working adult and CCCC is the first college I have attended. My learning experience has been very positive. There are several campus locations-Plano, Frisco, McKinney that allow you to take classes close to you.
I would recommend seeking out Dr. Morgan for Government classes, Dr. Adler for Economics, and Mrs. Broussard for College Algebra. They are very competent instructors who offer the serious student an engagine and fulfilling semester. The campus is always clean and well maintained. A math lab offers assistance in all areas of math. However, do not go to the math lab for a quick question, you will be there for a while. The learning resource center offers a fully stocked library, writing center, and computer access.
I highly recommend CCCC to anyone. The cost of education is very reasonable. Good luck!
