Middle Tennessee State University boasts itslef as a comprehensive college. I must say that it is, but the focus of the university seems to focus on its more lauded programs such as the Recording Industry Major [RIM], Nursing, and Aerospace.

I am a senior Spanish Major who intended to double major in Spanish and French when I first got here, but after taking some courses in French, I decided to drop down to a minor because the French department at MTSU does not have it all together. I assumed that the requirements for the Spanish major would be similar to the French major, but it wasn't. The French department barely has enough course from which one could choose. I feel as if I have scooted by on the French that I learned in High school and have yet to acquire any new relevant knowledge.

If you're planning on majoring in French at MTSU, don't bother because the university only has a few good professors.

As for everything else at MTSU, it's mostly ho-hum boring. I lived on campus for three years and was bored out of my mind on the weekends and during the weeknights too! There is absolutely nothing to do - absolutely!

Some general requirements are really useless because the professors do not care at all. They just ramble on and on about this and that - nothing worth listening to.

I suppose in general, if you're thinking about going to MT, think again.

Learning French was the most difficult for me because of its illogicality…

There are really a lot of crazy things in the French language that cannot be explained in any way. For example, mixing bowl is the same thing as the hen's ass. How is this even possible? However, I was able to find a webpage here, where good tutors were able to help me with explaining all the strangest things in French.

I think Middle Tennessee State University is a nice place to go. The campus is located in Murfreesboro, TN and it's a beautiful place. There are lots of things to do on campus and in the surrounding area. Try this best carpet cleaners suwanee for more useful ideas. The dorms are nice and clean and they have a lot of activities going on. The dining halls are great, too! It's easy to meet people here because there are so many clubs and organizations you can join.
