I had a lot of fun at Western but try looking for a decent job after you graduate. I make a whopping 25,000 a year in a dead end job that is only tangentally related to my field. This and a job at a tire store were the only offers I have had since I graduated, and I regret not taking the tire store job. Oh and the job I had to work at Office Max for seven months so I wouldn't get my leased s-10 repossesed. I didn't even get this job until a YEAR AND A HALF after I graduated!!!!! THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PREPARE YOU FOR getting a position in your field. For our senior project class which had almost 30 Automotive students there were (gee big shocker here) NO AUTOMOTIVE companies, so they had us try to reassemble a Hybrid Automobile that had been sitting since 1995 with absolutely no sponsorship. So when students from other disciplines were working with companies and making contacts we were begging junkyards for donations (how professional!) I know what you are thinking, I must have goofed off and partied my way through school, but I actually had a 3.29 GPA and even won an award from the school, but a fat lot of good that does me. I've made contact with employers that have actually LAUGHED at my degree and where I went to school. Western is pathetic and the biggest waste of money AND time I have ever had. If you go there TRANSFER IMMEDIATELY and if you are thinking of going here DON'T. Go to U of M or Kettering they are worth the extra money.
