I transferred into FIT last year after 2 & a 1/2 years at another school, and although I lost most of my credits (FIT curriculum is very specialized & not transfer friendly!) I have never regretted the decision once.

I have learned so much about the advertising and marketing industry in so little time here, I literally feel like I'm ready to get out in the work field now. Thanks to the help of the internship office I will be interning this semester at a PR agency just a few blocks from the school as well as going abroad for an internship this summer with other FIT students and faculty.
The location of the school is fantastic, your in the middle of everything. There is a subway entrance right across the street from the campus and there is never a lack for taxi's on 7th avenue so getting around is easy.

The professors are great, you're never just an ID# because classes are small enough that they know everyone's names. If you show your professors that you're interested in the work, they will be interested in helping you as much as they can and being that they are all currently working in or have worked in the industry believe me they can help you A LOT!
If you know what you want to major in and are considering FIT, come to this school! You will get a great education, be exposed to some of the most interesting and creative students in NY and have tons of exciting opportunities available to you.
